Today was camel day.

The morning was booked for a 3 hour camel ride through the isolated bush area of the McDonald ranges.

We had three camels.

Bridget and Rebecca on BJ, Ben and Grandma on Anna, Bas and I on Otis.

I was ready to give up after the hour, but there was no stopping. After the second hour I was more used to it.

We then had a break and fed the camels apples. It was then an other hour back.

The kids just loved the camels.

Rebecca even loves them more than dinosaurs. She bought a soft toy camel later that day.

Our guide didn't say much but we asked lots of questions to find out all about the camels and them.

After the camels we went and looked at the flying doctor service. That was a museum. They had the control room but noone was in it.

We then went across the road the reptile park. They had a fantastic collection of snakes, lizards and a crocodile called Terry.

I then dropped everyone back at camp and then went off and did some caches. That took me to a hill top and town.

We had pizza for dinner and an early night.
