This was an ordinary trip to Gilgandra that we have done many times before.

I did manage to do a few caches on the way.

We packed ok and were on the road 15 minutes before schedule with everyone in high spirits.

That lasted 15 minutes when the car behind me flashed that we we losing our load.DAMN!!

I repacked the roof rack and covered it with a tarp (which had already been suggested Opps!!).

The rest of that trip went alright.

We arrived at Dubbo and found the camper trailer hire place. We were expecting a warehouse, but had to drive 10 kms out of town to their house. They are great people, so we were comfy with that.

It took about an hour to show us the tent setup, and then we were off.

When we got to the farm (Gara), we noticed the brakes screaming. I rang the Campsite people that night, but they said it was ok. Just something that happens before the auto disc brakes disengage. Ok, I guess.

We had dinner and drinks with some family and Grandma.

Grandma had been injured.

She had been run into, deliberately, by a sheep when she was drafting last Saturday.

She has sore ribs, arms, and a very bruised leg. Most was now a bit better, but her leg is still very bruised and she needs a walking stick to get around. She is not going to let the injuies stop her from traveling.
